For “The Drive Home,” David Madeira of the American Car Museum, Rod Alperts, executive director of Detroit’s North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), and other enthusiasts underwent a 2,900-mile journey from Tacoma, Wash., to Detroit. During the drive, these classic American cars endured January’s adverse weather conditions to arrive in Detroit in time for NAIAS. In honor of NAIAS 2016, Robb Report is spotlighting Detroit’s exciting comeback.
