FrontRunners: Prancing Horse Prose

To own a Ferrari Enzo, you first had to be invited by the Italian automaker to buy one; Ferrari made only 401 examples of the coveted supercar from 2003 to 2004. The publishers of a new book titled The Official Ferrari Opus (www.krakenopus.com) hope the Ferrari faithful will see similar value in owning what they call “the most exclusive book in the world.” Available in four limited-edition versions ranging from the Classic (4,100 examples; $3,000 each) to the $250,000 diamond-studded Enzo Diamante edition (limited to one per country), the 852-page tome includes more than 2,000 photos and 200,000 words of text covering everything one could want to know about Ferrari.
