Lamborghini and Pirelli Combine Forces to Create the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition Supercar

Fewer than 100 of the special-edition Aventador will be available in North America this summer…

Pirelli tires have long adorned every Lamborghini to come out of the company’s production line in northeastern Italy. To celebrate the partnership between the two iconic brands, the carmaker created the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition. The special-edition car, which will be available in Coupé and Roadster versions, will be limited to fewer than 100 models imported to North America this year.

While the car retains all of its technical elements—including a carbon-fiber monocoque, a 700-hp V-12 engine, and permanent all-wheel drive—it also features exclusive equipment designed by the Lamborghini Centro Stile. Each car will have a Pirelli Serie Speciale plaque inside, as well as a transparent engine hood, glossy black Dione rims, and P Zero tires with red calipers. The exterior paint will be available in multiple two-tone, color-scheme options, and all of them will have a thin red stripe running along the exterior to reflect Pirelli branding; the striping continues inside the car along the ceiling and on the seats, which have the Lamborghini and Pirelli crests embroidered in red.

The Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition can be ordered now from dealers, with delivery scheduled for early summer. The car is reported to cost upwards of $400,000. (lamborghini.com)
