Claiming the Phil Hill Cup (awarded to a significant racecar in honor of the late American Formula 1 driver of the same name), this 1952 Ferrari 340 Mexico Vignale Spyder is owned by Les Wexner of New Albany, Ohio. The 340 Mexico was intended for the Carrera Panamericana, a cross-country road race in Mexico considered the most dangerous of its time. Although this car did not get to participate in that race, it was driven by Bill Spear and Phil Hill in the 1953 Sam Collier 6 Hour Memorial Race at MacDill Air Force base in Tampa, Fla.
