Chris-Craft’s Retro Style Returns

Chris-Crafts have long held classic appeal, so it is no surprise to see the famed U.S. boatbuilder reintroducing on its latest design, the Carina 21, a hull design that it incorporated back in the 1920s. Specifically, this new 19-foot-7-inch bowrider (21 feet 2 inches if you count the swim platform) has a vertical bow, lending a clean, crisp appearance. The design is also practical, parting waves more readily. Of course, what would a Chris-Craft be without other fine features like its signature reverse transom? The Carina 21 has a walk-through windshield for convenience and can accommodate seven passengers. The 7-foot-11-inch beam should keep everyone comfortable, and a skinny-water-friendly 2-foot-10-inch draft will let you poke around shallow bays all day. Several engine packages from Volvo Penta and Mercury are available, as are color options for the hull including seafoam green, Carolina blue, Riviera red, and black pearl metallic.
