At 43 feet long, the Wally One (www.wally.com) is the smallest model from the Monaco-based builder. But its shape is as aggressive-looking as those of the brand’s larger vessels. And like all of the company’s motor yachts, the Wally One is exceptionally fast: Its twin 370 hp Yanmar engines enable a top speed of 57 mph. Fast as the ride can be, it is also smooth, courtesy of a solid hull made of wave-absorbing composite material and a lean, wave-cutting vertical bow. Ample above-deck seating, a below-deck cabin with a two-person sleeping berth, and a full head with a shower also contribute to passengers’ comfort. Deliveries of the craft (which has a starting price of $650,000) began earlier this year; North American orders require at least four months to complete.
