One configuration option for the North Carolina–built 70 Motor Yacht gives up the lower helm station to gain more space in the saloon for an eat-in galley with seating for six. This “country kitchen,” as Hatteras Yachts calls it, has a 9-foot ceiling and a wraparound windshield that allows sunlight to fill the space. In total, the saloon measures 460 square feet, which is huge for a 70-footer. The 70 Motor Yacht, which has an unusually wide 21-foot beam for a yacht this size, also features a spacious flybridge. In addition to housing a helm station, the flybridge can include a bar and dining area covered by a hard top, and an area for sunbathing or for stowing a tender.
Accommodations below deck include a full-beam master suite and three other staterooms.
The yacht’s draft is only 5.3 feet.
The most powerful engine package enables the 70 Motor Yacht to reach 30 knots.
