Here’s How to Watch the America’s Cup Sailing Races in Muscat, Oman, February 27 and 28

Escape the crowds and be pampered while taking in the races from the deck of one of two yachts…

For the first time ever, the America’s Cup races are coming to the Middle East. February 27 through 28, the sailing spectacle will take place in Muscat, Oman, marking the beginning of this year’s competition season. If you haven’t already booked a charter yacht from which to watch the races (or if you don’t own a yacht), the public event village features a main stage with a jumbo screen for race recaps; live commentators; a food court; and a kids’ zone with face painting, pottery making, mini golfing, and more. Guests can download the America’s Cup app from the App Store to stay current on the latest race results. Between watching races, explore the ancient forts, tiny fishing villages, and historic landmarks that distinguish the sultanate.

For those not in Oman to watch the races live, the America’s Cup app features a live stream of the races, and various television stations around the world, including ESPN International, will broadcast race coverage. (americascup.com)
