Adding to its already sizable and diverse fleet, the shipbuilder Azimut Yachts took the occasion of the 2014 Cannes Boat Show in September to introduce three new models: the 50 Fly, the 77S, and the Grande 95RPH.
The Azimut 50 Fly has one of the largest flybridge decks of its class—offering more than 188 square feet of space. Inside, it is equipped with a saloon and dining area that doubles as a lounge. Able to sleep as many as six guests, the boat features a full-beam owner’s cabin amidships, a VIP cabin at the bow, and an additional small cabin outfitted with two Pullman beds.
With four boats commissioned even before its official launch, the sporty new Azimut 77S is already proving to be quite popular. Powered by three 900 hp Volvo engines, the 77S can travel at speeds of up to 35 knots. The boat’s main deck has a light, airy feel thanks to long banks of windows and a retractable sunroof above the dining area. Below deck, as many as eight guests can find lodging in the 77S’s owner’s cabin, VIP cabin, and two guest cabins.
The largest yacht introduced by Azimut at the show, the 94-foot Grande 95RPH was design to maximize the space available to its owner and guests. To this end, the pilothouse has been placed on a half deck between the spacious flybridge and the main deck. Exterior spaces are highly customizable, with many different combinations of sun pads, hot tubs, and chaise longues available. The boat’s contemporary interior is decorated primarily in shades of white and gray. Connected to the main deck by a backlit onyx staircase, the below-deck living quarters can accommodate 10 guests.
