Dan D’Agostino has perfected the integrated amplifier: His $45,000 Momentum integrated amplifier combines the functionality of the $30,000 Momentum stereo power amp and the $32,000 Momentum preamp with an external supply that serves as an isolating base and helps minimize electromagnetic interference. Able to power even the most difficult-to-drive speakers, the Momentum integrated amplifier delivers 200 watts into an 8-ohm load. It is equipped with six fully balanced XLR inputs and tone controls that, with dedicated amplification, users can choose to bypass and ensure source fidelity.
The Momentum integrated amplifier displays the signature look of D’Agostino’s music systems: heat-absorbent copper side panels, brushed-silver or matte-black (for an extra $2,500) aluminum billet for the rest of the chassis, and a power meter that evokes the face of a mechanical watch.
