The Approach S60 gives golfers the ability use its 1.2-inch touchscreen to pinpoint distances and targets from anywhere on the course. This means that if the pin is positioned back that day but the watch shows it up front, all you have to do is drag it back to the proper position. And if you’re stuck in the fescue behind a mound, Pinpointer will tell you which direction to aim.
The Approach S60 also offers shot-tracking capability for every club in your bag, and after the round you can head to the range pair it with the Garmin TruSwing to figure out why you were pulling left all day. The $400 device comes preloaded with data on 40,000 courses. It offers 10 hours of battery life when you’re playing and up to 10 days when used only as a watch.
