There’s a cavalcade of whimsical, nostalgia-tinged sweets at Christina Tosi’s Milk Bar empire. She’s made so many iconic desserts, from crack pie, to her take on birthday cake, to the compost cookie. But it all really began to take off when she thought of making panna cotta with Corn Flakes-infused milk. Her boss, David Chang, encouraged her to use that flavor in more things, and so she created a soft serve ice cream with it. So while Milk Bar is not really an ice cream shop, you won’t want to let the summer pass by without eating some cereal milk soft serve.
