Cal-a-Vie Health Spa is pleased to announce the debut of Cal-a-Vie Antiques, a new specialty boutique shop providing guests with exclusive access to a spectacular array of 18th and 19th century pieces direct from France. A renowned French Provencal spa retreat in Southern California, Cal-a-Vie is embellished with historical accents and classic antiques of the highest caliber. Now, guests can take home their own personal piece of the retreat, along with their renewed health and vitality earned at the spa.
Cal-a-Vie owners, Terri and John Havens, are self-professed Francophiles, whose mission is to provide the ultimate spa haven for each guest. Items in the antique shop are sourced from the Havens’ own personally curated collection. “Over the years many guests have asked me if they could buy the furniture out of the rooms. We carefully select each piece at the resort – from chairs to candelabras – so the new Cal-a-Vie Antiques shop now allows guests to take some of our favorite pieces home with them,” says Terri Havens of the available collection.
Cal-a-Vie Antiques includes a range of rare and collectable items, such as a pair of mercury glass vases with flower motif dating back to 1880, a painted Louis XVI-style commode with marble top circa 1820, a Venetian mirror with grain shell and flower motif, and much more.
The new boutique is open seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and located next to Cal-a-Vie’s Forum meeting space, which is also accented with gorgeous period antiques. Guests are invited to browse the store at leisure, or make an appointment to view the collection.
