Back in Black

In September 2012, the interior designer Sarah Lavoine opened a shop in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré district to showcase her first line of furniture and objects, most of which are made of walnut, oak, and antique brass. Now the focus is on the 1,300-square-foot shop that she unveiled in September 2013, in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. The chic, black-walled space displays furnishings, tabletop items, table linens, and accessories—both of her own creation and from emerging designers—that reflect the location’s Left Bank edginess.
