Noodles, a bouquet of flowers, and other commonplace items have inspired the furniture of Kenneth Cobonpue. His latest line takes its cue from a knitting pattern. The Kenneth Cobonpue Cabaret collection (www.kennethcobonpue.com) includes armchairs, lounge chairs, and sofas made of fabric-wrapped foam tubes woven around steel frames. The tubes are laced around the edges of fiberglass coffee and end tables, creating a stitched look that complements the larger pieces. Priced from $1,011 to $7,560, the items come in polyester for indoor use and in weatherproof acrylic for the outdoors.
