Natasha Baradaran’s Elle brings an unexpected look to the project which is part of the appeal. “The wonderful alchemy of some of the world’s most prestigious designers combined with a printed leather that for the first time brilliantly illustrates the natural characteristics of the material I love, is something I’m so excited to share”, says Amberg. “The quality is something that should be seen and touched to be fully appreciated.”
Baradaran’s Elle tosses out the outdated notions of masculinity and feminitinty. Her juxtaposition of delicate lace is cut with the abstracted motif, which is also influenced by fragments of bone and fish scales. The small repeat is ideal for uhplostery and paneling, suggests the brand.
Baradaran is a sought-after tastemaker in Los Angeles, where her furniture designs and interiors studio have earned a fanbase. She is known for a glamorous mix: 1970s Italian furniture with a casual, Californian aesthetic.

The name Luameans “moon” in Portuguese. World-renown designer Alexandra Champalimaud conceived of the pattern as an abstract study of the organic shapes found in indigenous basket-weaving practices. Initially using watercolors to create the design, Champalimaud landed on a paletted of dusty rose, grey, and neutral hues to give a sense of depth, gradation, and subtlety to the print.

Timorous Beasties is a wallpaper outfit best known for their irreverant, exuberant designs (often with a sly smile). Omni Drips is their striking take on a damask, which is bursting with color and order — the mirrored effect keeps the pattern from descending into chaos.

Straight from her own notebook, designer Faye Toogood took her freestyle sketch and transformed it into a memorable artistic moment. Layering meaning misses the point. Toogood found several inspirations — animals skins and primative artwork–but doesn’t define the print via one influence.
