A cool white structure, this Italian-inspired estate pairs classic features with linear architecture.
“To accentuate and add to the modern Italian architecture,” says the designer, “it was important to use furniture and product that provided interest and color such as furniture from Ligne Roset, Roche Bobois, and Polyform with a touch of Christian Lacroix.”
Describing her color palette for the project, Magon relays, “I wanted something fresh and fun yet timeless. This was achieved by having all the staple pieces remain neutral in color and add pops through the accessories.”
Though the onxy feature wall / fireplace commands attention in the dining room, Magon’s quest for perfection also included lighting. “We were able to find equilibrium by adding large scale accessories on top of the dining table, which created an interesting play on scale and created a desirable outcome.”
Magon had a custom silk wall in a geometric pattern created to provide soundproofing in this media / lounge area.
A mix of wood, stone, and straightforward elements reign in the master bathroom.
Cool compromise: In the master, Magon paired pattern and color to satisfy the wishes of both clients.
