Brushing the dust off half-forgotten mid-century-modern classics is a sizzling trend at the moment—and one new online brand is making it the core of its business plan. The cheeky breakfast-dish-inspired Fried Egg armchair (think of the seat as the yoke) was designed by Hans Olsen in 1956. In March, it will be rereleased by Warm Nordic along with more than 100 Scandinavian designs from the 1950s and ’60s. Previously, the Fried Egg was only available via the likes of 1stdibs (where it’s currently listed for around $7,000). There’s no word yet on the price of the rerelease, shown here upholstered in a moody dark ochre.
