Troy Lighting, well-known for creating “sophisticated casual” designs, is proud to announce the launch of its 2014 collection. All of the pieces stay true to Troy Lighting’s transitional aesthetic roots with new sculptural creations in hand-formed iron, the use of natural elements such as manila rope, and whimsical designs incorporating coffee cups, beer bottles and words of epicurean delight. These newest creations also fit perfectly in residential, retail, office and hospitality specifications.
As in past years, 2014 rings in exceptional creations from Troy Lighting, incorporating the industrial chic trend with a rustic French countryside aesthetic. New Troy collections include the use of frosted pressed glass, hand-spun steel, cast aluminum, brass and bamboo accents, salvaged and hand-carved wood, fresh water pearl, porcelain, wrought iron and luminous crystal drops. Troy Lighting combines these unique elements to produce distinctive products that are truly original and some even sustainable.
A stand-out feature is the Whitman. As one of the most renowned poets in American history, Walt Whitman is known for his evocative work praising nature’s beauty. With a similar eye toward nature’s praises, the Whitman collection from Troy Lighting offers an inspirational yet modern take on the outdoors. Graceful branches hand-formed from wrought iron and coated in a rich Vienna bronze finish gleam behind a creamy linen shade hemmed in gold.
Whitman is offered in several versions, including pendants that feature four-, six- and eight-lights and two versions of one- and two-light wall sconces.
