The designer Stefano Pilati continues to challenge our existing notions of menswear while providing the well-dressed man with a supremely elegant wardrobe. His latest topcoats give us all cause to rethink outerwear: Pilati sets a new standard with an ample silhouette that appears weighty yet remains deceptively light. These toppers are made using a double-construction technique that involves fusing by hand two separate fabrics to create a single sheet of cloth, from which the coat is cut and sewn. Strong lines define these substantial double-breasted, double-faced coats.
