Dege & Skinner is marking 150 years as a bespoke tailoring house with the release of the Dege & Skinner Anniversary Collection suits, jackets, and sport coats—made from five Super-100, worsted-wool and cashmere cloths woven in Yorkshire and Saxony—and limited-edition men’s accessories. The British bespoke and military tailor (which holds three Royal Warrants, including one from Queen Elizabeth II in 1984) is one of just two remaining family-run houses on London’s Savile Row—the other being Henry Poole & Co.—and the only house on the famed street that offers shirt-cutting services.
Taking inspiration from the firm’s prestigious history, the classically styled pieces in the Anniversary Collection are crafted from 11- and 12-ounce navy blue pinhead, navy blue herringbone, basic navy blue, grey pick-and-pick, or grey Prince of Wales with blue over check, as well as 14-ounce tweed in grey, blue, or tan. Two-piece suits crafted in any 11- or 12-ounce Anniversary Collection cloth are priced at about $6,200. The collection’s limited-edition accessories include two silk ties, one of which features a motif of the running fox from Dege & Skinner’s logo (about $80), and matching 9-karat, rose-gold cuff links (about $65).
