The balmy, volcanic shores of Southern Italy have inspired a new men’s fragrance, Bulgari Aqua Amara (www.bulgari.com). Its smooth brown bottle, shaped like a beach pebble, holds a warm, citrusy scent made with Tunisian neroli, bitter orange, and other botanicals sourced from North Africa and Sicily. A touch of the eau de toilette, priced at $70 for 50 mL and $90 for 100 mL, is indeed a touch of the Mediterranean itself.
