Hermès Bomber Jacket
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “A leather jacket is a manly piece with a sensual touch—a second skin that protects and defines an attitude. This jacket has an ample shape and generous proportions and is tanned in double-face leather that confers a strong plongé leather outside and puffy wool comfort inside. The exquisite quality of our leather will always reach a subtle patina; the desire to wear it will increase in time.” — Véronique Nichanian, men’s artistic director
Merino bomber jacket, $13,600

Salle Privée Cashmere turtleneck sweater
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “Spun in Italy from weighty 100 percent cashmere, this extremely soft knit has a heavy gauge crafted into a dense ribbed knit, which gives it a sturdy character. It’s the ultimate luxurious garment for colder days. Because of its color and timeless style, it’s a go-to piece every man should have in his wardrobe.” — Patrick Munsters, founder
Cashmere turtleneck sweater, $1,054

Connolly Briefcase
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “Connolly’s finest leathers have been used on quality car interiors for decades—a fact we allude to on this briefcase with metalwork and piping details subtly reminiscent of midcentury sports cars. Designed by Couli Jobert, it’s loved by architects, designers and entrepreneurs, as it’s both functional and chic. This elegant tan shade works so well with fall’s palette of black, browns, navy and grays and really shows off the leather beautifully.” — Isabel Ettedgui, owner
Vegetable-tanned ‘City Grip’ briefcase, $1,632

Goodfight Selvedge Jeans
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “Denim jeans have proven to be a transcendent design because of their unique combination of beauty and utility. The denser weave of shuttle-loomed selvedge gives the fabric strength and a naturally clean, elegant aesthetic. We worked very hard on engineering a relaxed fit in the hips that subtly tapers to the bottom cuff. The result is a disarmingly comfortable pair of raw denim with the look of a tastefully tailored pair of pants.” — Julia Chu, creative director
Japanese selvedge ‘Rita’ taper jeans, $325

Maison Margiela × Mackintosh Trench Coat
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “The iconic Mackintosh is almost an accessory in its own right. Here, the classic silhouette is reconstructed through the lens of the maison’s codes to offer the idea of a new type of glamour.” — John Galliano, artistic director, Maison Margiela
Trench coat, $5,935
-
Loewe Scarf
Image Credit: Ben Alsop The fringed scarf—a form dating to 1000 B.C.E.—is a perennial cold-weather staple. Here, the Madrilenian house of Loewe lends it a slight Spanish accent in plush mohair, a textile made from Angora goat hair, which the nation’s weavers have specialized in for centuries, accented with a single patch of the brand’s signature oro calfskin.
Mohair scarf, $270

Boglioli Blazer
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “Effortless is the perfect way to describe this. A soft blazer is a piece to make you feel confidently dressed…simple but sophisticated. It adapts easily with whatever style and combination you wish. This one is a masterpiece, a deconstructed K-Jacket in 100 percent printed silk.” — Guillermo Rosenberg, CEO
Silk blazer, $1,595

Crockett & Jones Chelsea Boot
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “The demand for smart casual styles is increasing all the time. This season, we’ve matched the Chelsea’s iconic upper with a robust and striking cleated rubber sole to create a new spin on classic English style. We’ve been producing Chelsea boots since the early 1960s, and this one won’t just be an essential for this season—it’ll be ready to go next year, the year after that and the one after that…” — Jonathan Jones, managing director
Grained-leather ‘Chelsea XI’ boot, $700

Brioni Alpaca Coat
Image Credit: Ben Alsop “This coat is a timeless double-breasted design in a natural alpaca color with real horn buttons. Its double-face construction is completely unlined and entirely handmade, as are the buttonholes. It’s soft and light and goes with many different outfits—one can wear it for years, and it will always look great.” — Norbert Stumpfl, executive design director
Alpaca coat, $13,500
