Have you ever wanted a behind-the-scenes tour of a bespoke shoe shop? Have you ever wondered what a typical day looks like for your tailor? If so, you will not want to miss out on LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s third edition of Les Journées Particulières. The three-day event—held in Europe from May 20 through 22—gives the public a behind-the-scenes look at a wide range of the group’s ateliers, wine stores and cellars, private houses, family residences, and historic boutiques, including the artisanship that drives Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Berluti, and other LVMH fashion brands.
New locations opening their doors to the public for the first time include: the Louis Vuitton atelier in Sainte-Florence in the Vendée region of France; the Fendi headquarters in the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome; and the Loro Piana weaving-and-textiles factory in Roccapietra, Italy. Over 50 European venues in France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, and the United Kingdom will participate in the festivities, giving visitors the chance to experience a personalized look at the craftsmanship and deep heritage of their favorite luxury brands. Guests can make reservations to visit the various shops by visiting LVMH’s website. (lvmh.com)
