Earlier this year, Luciano Barbera (lucianobarbera.it)—a Biella-based brand known for precision tailoring—opened its first-ever boutique, on the Via Gesù in Milan’s fashionable Via dell’Uomo (or Gentleman’s Row), minutes from the 16th-century Palazzo Marino. The 1,000-square-foot shop offers bespoke jackets and suits made from ultrasoft cashmere, silk, and wool. Suits start at about $4,000. Throughout the boutique, Basaltina stone floors are paired with brushed-blond-oak fixtures and gray-toned, textured wallpaper.
