Luxury footwear brand Fratelli Rossetti is expanding in Asia with the opening of its first boutique in Thailand. The 330-square-foot boutique is located in the prestigious Gaysorn Plaza in Bangkok. The new boutique concept by French architect François Muracciole draws inspiration from the essence of craftsmanship.
During the opening, the Fratelli Rossetti Master Craftsman revealed one of the brand’s timeless style secrets by showcasing the Toledo, a manual dyeing technique. The neutral, vegetally tanned calfskin uppers are buffed by hand, and the final result is bright and glossy.
The utmost refinement of a Made to Order service is also being offered for the first time. Assisted by the Master Craftsman, customers can choose their favorite colour for footwear, and the resulting shoes will be exclusive one-offs, coloured entirely by hand. Every item will be personalized with the customer’s own initials, branded into the inner lining.
The Bangkok boutique is part of a major expansion plan targeted primarily at the Asian market, with seven Fratelli Rossetti boutiques due to open in the upcoming five years, bringing the number of boutiques worldwide to 40.
