Harrods is delighted to announce the launch of world-renowned American jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz as a UK exclusive in the newly refurbished Fine Jewellery Room. Lorraine Schwartz is a world renowned jewelry designer, known for her contemporary, trend setting creations. She began her career as a third generation diamond dealer, where she developed a keen eye for quality and clarity. As the granddaughter of one of the world’s leading diamond manufacturers, she learned early on about the intricate aspects of the gemstone and fine jewelry business. Schwartz started designing pieces for herself in 2000, combining unique materials and precious gems to create exceptional masterpieces
Not only will Harrods be the only retail outlet outside of the United States to stock Lorraine Schwartz’s dramatic designs but it will be the only place in the world to offer the designer’s full jewelry collection, encompassing her bridal, bespoke and red-carpet ranges. Schwartz’s dedicated space will be located within the Fine Jewellery Room alongside some of the world’s most prestigious jewelers and will showcase the designer’s exquisite statement jewelry creations which combine gold, diamonds and precious stones with exceptional craftsmanship. The addition of Lorraine Schwartz further sets Harrods’ Fine Jewellery Room apart as a world-leading destination for high jewelry and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to bespoke service, exceptional experience and superior product selection.
‘We are thrilled to announce the launch of Lorraine Schwartz into the Fine Jewellery Room at Harrods. As the only retail destination in the world to offer Lorraine Schwartz’s full jewelry collection, we look forward to introducing Harrods’ clients to Lorraine Schwartz’s iconic red carpet creations, as well as her playful collections and a truly bespoke service, previously only available to private clients. This launch marks Harrods’ latest addition to the department, increasing our offer to twenty-five brands, cementing Harrods’ position as global leader in fine jewelry.’ Helen David, Fashion Director
