A 25th-anniversary retrospective will showcase the designs of jeweler Martin Katz (www.martinkatz.com), who is best known for his use of micropavé. Katz’s signature style is exemplified by the 1999 gold-wire bow brooch (pictured). It is set with 1,541 tiny pink and white diamonds. The brooch will be on display, along with dozens of other unique pieces, in April at Katz’s Beverly Hills salon. For the occasion, Katz has borrowed back from clients some of his favorite designs, including a 1997 infinity ring that features a 5-carat rose-cut diamond set atop hundreds of tiny diamonds. Upon request, Katz may re-create a piece on display.
