French-Mexican jewelry designer Colette Steckel has opened an all-new boutique on Melrose Place in West Hollywood. It joins Steckel’s flagship showroom in Mexico City. The new 344-square-foot space’s chic décor reflects Steckel’s approach to jewelry and blends delicate, romantic details with flashes of drama.
Inside, black and white marble floors are contrasted with light lavender-grey walls set with vintage-style gold veined mirrors, recessed display boxes, and Steckel’s jewelry sketches. A black-cushioned Lucite chair tucks into a vanity-style counter, a perfect space for clients to try out new designs or hold private appointments with Steckel. Custom cases are equipped with antique gold drawer pulls and display a mix of the brand’s classic and exclusive designs (which range from $2,000 to more than $40,000). A stunning, large-scale flower blossom chandelier made with frosted Murano glass serves as the boutique’s crown jewel. (colettejewelry.com)
