Watch Design: Audemars Piguet Millenary Hand-Wound
The latest Millenary models from Audemars Piguet were inspired by the brand’s famous Tradition of Excellence Cabinet No. 5 watch. They present multiple surfaces for various applications of mother-of-pearl, diamonds, and other embellishments. Each watch features the openwork hand-wound caliber 5201, with a small seconds hand and a visible balance beneath a rose-gold balance bridge.
-
Audemars Piguet first presented the Millenary watches’ small-dial, openwork format in high-complication models.
-
The case is available in rose or white gold, and it features a diamond-set bezel and lugs.
-
The elevated dial includes an eccentric hours-and-minutes display and is decorated with mother-of-pearl or pavé diamonds.
