Grande Sonnerie

After six years of research and development, master watchmaker F.P. Journe unveiled his most complicated timepiece ever made, the Grande Sonnerie. With 450 individual parts, the watchmaker has registered 10 patents for this one timepiece. The hammer strikes 812 times every 24 hours, and the strike is released 96 times a day, or 35,040 times a year with impressive reliability.
