Rolex Daytona 6264
When you think vintage Daytonas, the Paul Newman is often the first piece that comes to mind. However, this 14-Karat Gold Rolex Daytona 6264 ($220,000) is vastly collectible in its own right. Only a very limited number of this yellow gold Daytona (a limited edition that was only made available to the U.S. market) was ever produced, and of those, even fewer have managed to retain their original bezel—identifiable by the elongated stem of the number 2 on the “200” of the bezel. Its original stretch bracelet is also in remarkably solid condition and does not suffer from the overstretched sloppiness that inherently plagues well-worn examples of the style. (materialgoodny.com)
