Carlisle Bay, Antigua, Adds New Suites and Services

From romantic suites to a new restaurant, the Caribbean resort has added to its amenities...

Located in a secluded cove on Antigua’s southern coast, Carlisle Bay, Antigua boasts gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea and the island’s verdant rainforest. The chic Caribbean getaway recently added six new suites, a waterfront restaurant, and a plethora of resort-wide complimentary services and amenities. Couples who are celebrating honeymoons, anniversaries, or other special occasions will appreciate one of the six new 780-square-foot Bay Suites, each featuring ocean views, an in-room vodka and rum bar, and luxury bath products. Private butlers arrange everything from romantic dinners (which can be booked at the new adults-only waterfront restaurant, the Jetty Grill) to rainforest hikes. The preexisting suites—each of which includes a private balcony or a terrace leading directly to the beach—received a fresh coat of paint, updated artwork, and new upholstery on sofas and chairs.

In addition, for the first time in its 10-year history, the resort is now providing complimentary services, including VIP airport fast-track service, snorkeling, yoga, Pilates, cardio tennis, rainforest hikes, and a sailing and windsurfing clinic. Room rates start at $675, while Bay Suite rates begin at $1,100 (based on double occupancy). (carlisle-bay.com)
