The Tschuggen Grand Hotel, a luxury resort set in Switzerland’s spectacular alpine Arosa region, fashions a contemporary fairy-tale style, making the hotel an ideal venue for a relaxed alpine getaway with personalized 5-star service. Re-opening for the summer season on July 1st, the Tschuggen Grand will offer a guided multiple-day horseback trip which takes guests deep into the Swiss Alps. It combines two nights at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel with one night in a fabulous tent high up in the mountains. Fly fishing, a farmers brunch, and dinner at cool new Restaurant Alpenblick are also included.
The Tschuggen Grand Hotel encourages guests to explore the outdoors throughout the duration of the summer with incentives such as themed hiking every Thursday in August. Launching August 4 with a hike for families, guests will be accompanied by a fairy-tale weaver on the journey to Litziruti. Other itineraries include a gourmet hike with stops to eat along the way, a challenging ascent for experienced climbers, and finally, a guided moonlit hike, giving photographers the chance to capture the magic of twinkling stars on an inky, undisturbed Swiss lake.
Also offering guests leisurely activities, the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in partnership with a new “Bucket List” community initiative in Arosa, allows travelers to dine at multiple local eateries, and engage in curated, mindful experiences, such as walking barefoot through a field of flowers as they mark off a passport on their memory-making journey. One winner will have the chance to extend their vacation with one or more free room nights.
