Mirbeau Inn & Spa at The Pinehills Offers French-Inspired Holiday Celebrations

PLYMOUTH, Mass. –  Mirbeau Inn & Spa at the Pinehills is celebrating the holiday season with French flair. From artfully-prepared menus by Executive Chef Stephen Coe, to an overnight escape package for those looking to de-stress, Mirbeau invites guests from near and far to make the inn their home for the holidays. On Thursday, Dec. 25, guests can relax and enjoy a Christmas Day menu including Lobster Gnocchi and Smoked Squab Breast, and entrees such as Monkfish Osso Bucco, Local Rack of Lamb, and Moularde Duck Breast. The meal will be completed with sweet treats created by Mirbeau Pastry Chef Patrick Ford. Seatings are available from 12-5 p.m.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, Mirbeau will say ‘au revoir’ to 2014 with a New Year’s Eve fête complete with delicious cuisine and live music. Guests can choose from either dinner in The Bistro & Wine Bar from 5-10 p.m., or a five- or seven-course tasting menu in Henri-Marie, including live music by the Johnny Souza Jazz Quartet. The five-course tasting menu is available during 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. seatings and is $85 per person. The seven-course tasting menu is available during the 8 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. seatings and is $145 per person, which includes wine pairings, a dessert buffet of gourmet pastries, midnight champagne toast and party favors.

On Thursday, Jan. 1, Mirbeau will welcome 2015 with a New Year’s Day brunch from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in The Bistro & Wine Bar where diners can savor an array of hot and cold dishes. These include Plymouth Grilled Oysters and Poutine Fries, to Short Rib Benedict, Croque Monsieur, Green Eggs and Ham, and an assortment of crêpes and omelets.


Those looking to celebrate the New Year in true Mirbeau-style can indulge in a mini escape with Mirbeau Inn & Spa’s New Year’s Eve Package, which includes the seven-course tasting menu, overnight accommodations in a luxe guestroom, an in-room welcome gift, and New Year’s Day brunch. The package is based on double occupancy and rates start at $799, including tax and gratuities.
