Greenough, Montana – March 2015 – Montana’s premiere luxury ranch resort is kicking off summer by welcoming guests for a weekend of sticky, smoky elegance and wilderness adventures at Montana Master Grillers at The Resort at Paws Up. The all-inclusive Memorial Day weekend – May 22-25, 2015 – event aims to celebrate what Paws Up does best: gourmet outdoor dining.
Good Eats: As part of the special event, guests will partake in a myriad of wilderness adventures like horseback riding or fly-fishing with one-on-one interaction with some of the finest chefs, distillers and winemakers in America. Montana Master Grillers 2015 will feature grilling demonstrations and flame-kissed lunches and dinners prepared by world-class chefs who specialize in grilling and BBQ cooking including Chef Josh Bowen of John Brown Smokehouse in Long Island City, NY, Chef Danny Fischer of Baby Blues BBQ in Hollywood, CA, Chef Sam Smith of Sam’s BBQ1 in Marietta, GA, Chef Charlie McKenna of Lillie’s Q in Chicago, IL and Paws Up’s Executive Chef Ben Jones.
Perfect Pairings: Cakebread Cellars from Napa Valley, Rodney Strong Vineyards from Sonoma and Shed Horn Cellars from Middletown, Lake County will be offering featured wine tastings and pairing their offerings with the featured chefs’ fare. A weekend of grilling and BBQ wouldn’t be complete without a craft beer and small-batch spirits. As such, Lagunitas Brewing Company and Montgomery and RoughStock Distilleries will also be participating in the weekend event.
Live Music: Robbie Fulks, a country singer and performer from Chicago, an instructor at the Old Town School of Folk Music and a songwriter for the likes of Joe Diffie and Tim McGraw among others will be performing live at Paws Up.
VIP Experience: An intimate party will join Dennis Cakebread on an exclusive fly-fishing trip on the legendary Missouri River. The VIP experience offers epic scenery and the opportunity to swap stories, hook some fresh trout and enjoy an alfresco lunch paired with Cakebread Cellars with one of the most influential vintners in the industry. This is available for a limited number of guests and needs to be booked in advance.
The Montana Master Grillers all-inclusive weekend from May 22-25, 2015, starts at $969 per person, per night for four days, three nights.
