MACAU (6 July 2015) – Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central celebrated a major milestone today as it welcomed its five millionth guest. Sharanya Trivedi from India – who chose to celebrate hitting her 10th birthday at Sheraton Macao Hotel, along with her 8-year-old brother, Suvarn, mother, father and, grandmother – received a spectacular welcome by Josef Dolp, Managing Director of Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central, along with a very colorful cast of DreamWorks characters.
In honor of their visit, Sheraton Macao Hotel upgraded the family of five to a Presidential Suite; gave them free tickets to the brand-new DreamWorks Kung Fu Panda Academy; arranged Shrekfast with the DreamWorks gang as well as lunch at Bene and dinner at Xin; and offered spa treatments at Shine Spa for Sheraton – all compliments of the house.
“This milestone is very important to Sheraton Macao Hotel, as we continue to differentiate ourselves in the Macau hospitality space with more family offerings such as the Kung Fu Panda Academy, which is built upon the success of our collaboration with DreamWorks,” said Mr. Dolp. “These experiences demonstrate our commitment to diversifying Sheraton Macao Hotel’s family offerings, as well as helping to shape Macau into Asia’s entertainment hub.
“Sheraton Macao Hotel’s brand positioning and unique offerings have proven to be very successful. We welcomed our two millionth guest in February last year, and now, just over one year later, we’re very pleased to be welcoming our five millionth – a family of five from India.”
The 5 Millionth Guest
The family of five from North India, have enjoyed staying at Sheraton hotels in other parts of the world. That is why they chose Sheraton Macao Hotel for their daughter’s 10th birthday celebration on their first visit to Macau.
Sharanya’s mother, Ms. Shruti Bajpai said: “We chose the Sheraton brand because we really enjoyed our stay with the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers in Dubai. My children were bouncing off the walls when they found out about all the activities that are available here in Macau, especially the DreamWorks attractions. They can’t wait to try the Kung Fu Panda Academy and the chance to meet all of the DreamWorks characters. It’s an honor to be the ‘five millionth guest’, and we are so excited to be celebrating our daughter’s birthday here.”
Daniella Tonetto, General Manager of Sales and Marketing, Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central added, “We’re so happy to welcome Sharanya Trivedi on her 10th birthday as our ‘five millionth guest’ along with her family. This is a very special occasion for their entire family and we’re thrilled to be able to celebrate along with them. We hope that they also enjoy all of the new summer offerings we have for them as well as the new Kung Fu Panda Academy which we just launched over the weekend.”
The summer showcase at Sheraton Macao Hotel is the Kung Fu Panda Academy, a five-zone interactive obstacle course that challenges children’s physical abilities and problem solving skills, and encourages their creativity too. This is the perfect way for children to learn Kung Fu moves from Po during the school holidays and for families to share an extraordinary experience together.
Guests can take advantage of all the summer dining and entertainment offerings through the Kung Fu Panda Summer Package, which includes ferry tickets, accommodation and special dining or spa offers, and starts at just HKD$1,498++*.
