Few islands are as secret as Greek Island Retreat. The exclusive-use property—located in the Cyclades, about an hour’s boat ride from Athens—doesn’t have a website and isn’t even Google-able. But the retreat, which has been owned by the same family for nearly a century, is hardly short on luxuries, featuring a four-bedroom main house and a cluster of freestanding cottages that host up to 22 guests.
Inside, the vibe is a 1920s hideaway, with lime-washed walls, stone fireplaces, and gorgeous tile floors. The island also comes with the services of a private chef (who uses vegetables from the on-site gardens along with local seafood for ultra-fresh meals) and other personal staff.
