We live at Palazzo Papadopoli, on top of the Aman Venice. It’s by far the best hotel in Venice—there are Tiepolo frescoes and great views of the Grand Canal. It’s like staying in a museum.
Trattoria Antiche Carampane makes the best tagliolini alla granseola [pasta with spider crab] you will ever try. Hidden amidst the tiny alleys of San Polo, it is the most charming little restaurant.
Naranzaria makes the finest Aperol Spritz in town. Go there for the amazing views of the sunset on the Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal.
Every morning, the Rialto Market fills with people lining up for fresh Adriatic fish and local vegetables. It’s a festival of colors and always so fascinating! The giant prawns are a must-buy.
