Colombier’s chic five-star Villa Marie St. Barth reopened on March 2, making it the place to be during this year’s yachting festivities. The 23-bungalow property perched above Flamands Bay offers some of the island’s newest—and most stylish—accommodations, having first opened just last April by the French hotelier and interior designer Jocelyne Sibuet.
The hotel’s design effortlessly blends classic French details, colonial plantation influences, and colorful Caribbean flair via vibrant tropical fabric flourishes. Two new accommodations are the result of post-hurricane repairs: Villa Saline and Villa Colombier are among the resort’s largest, featuring spacious living rooms that open onto private terraces with a hot tub or swimming pools. The brand-new François Plantation Restaurant and Hotel Bar serving a wide selection of rums and cigars are also open for business during the regatta.
