November 13, 2014 (Jackson Hole, WY) – Snake River Sporting Club, Jackson Hole’s most unique private club and residential community, will break ground on a new collection of turn-key luxury cottages this fall. Available for immediate purchase during construction, the four new Tall Timber Cottages will be located on prime homesites along the second and third fairways of the Tom Weiskopf 18-hole championship golf course and offer ideal proximity to all of Snake River Sporting Club’s four season amenities.
The new construction comes on the heels of the successful introduction of Snake River Sporting Club’s first developer inventory offering, the Martin Creek Cabins – all of which sold within 4 months of hitting the market and less then a year after the Club officially reopened under new ownership in October 2013.
“We are pleased to end our inaugural summer season with our first three cabins sold, and delighted to have welcomed 175 members in less than one year of operation,” says Jeff Heilbrun, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of Snake River Sporting Club. “Our goal is to capture and perfect the four-season appeal of Jackson Hole in one place, and the year’s activity is a strong validation that we are achieving our objective. The Cottages are a response to member demand for turn-key homes within the community.”
The new Tall Timber Cottages border 3.5 million acres of National Forest, and complement the surrounding environment with rustic, contemporary sophistication. The single level, 3,000 square foot, four bedroom, four and a half bathroom design by award-winning Poss Architecture + Planning of Aspen, Colorado, provides an open floor plan with ample space for family and friends to enjoy the sporting life of Snake River Sporting Club. Features include 20-foot vaulted ceilings, 750 square feet of exterior porches and covered decks, and high-quality materials and finishes: rough sawn oak floors; exposed timber beams; custom iron work; granite and ceramic tiles; lighting by Visual Comfort and Restoration Hardware; appliances by Wolf and Sub-Zero; and fixtures by Kohler and Rohl.
When completed in 2015, the move-in ready Tall Timber Cottages will start at $2.5 million, however pre-completion pricing is available now and allows the purchaser to add personal touches and work with the builder to specify custom finishes. Pre-completion pricing starts at $2,395,000. All buyers can work with the Club’s design partner, WRJ Interiors, for custom interior design services and furniture packages.
Winter is an active time at the Club. Residents and members can snowshoe along the river bottom, cross country ski on miles of groomed traditional and skating trails, heli-ski backcountry powder direct from the property, ice skate on the Club’s outdoor rink, or simply enjoy a day at nearby Jackson Hole Mountain Resort – complete with a private lockers, ski valet and shuttle services.
