Twin Farms, Vermont’s only luxury, five-star experience, set amidst 300 acres of meadows and woodlands in Barnard, marks its 20th anniversary with special rates, fresh programming and innovative partnerships designed to bring new and familiar faces together in celebration, including:
- Celebration Weekends Series
- Craft Beer Weekend with local Vermont breweries
- Revitalized room re-design by New York City based, esteemed interior designer Katie Ritter
- New Chef’s Farm for spa and culinary use
- Exclusive spa partnership with three local Vermont skincare lines
- Recently introduced dog friendly accommodations, amenities & pooch-led pet outings
To ensure that every guest has a chance to join the party, Twin Farms is programming a celebratory weekend this fall. Chef Nathan Rich of Lake Placid Lodge will be joining the Farm for a weekend of craft beer and decadent food pairings in collaboration with Vermont’s top craft breweries. Twin Farms’ Craft Beer Weekend will take place October 25 to 27 and provide guests with tips and demonstrations on home brewing along with lessons on pairing beer and food.
Bringing a new look to the all-inclusive hideaway, two suites, Hillside and Grotto, have been redesigned by renowned New York City-based designer Katie Ridder, effectively conveying a fresh take on old world luxury. These newly re-designed Lodge suites include custom fabrics in inviting colors with whimsical designs mixed with unique antique furniture and artwork.
A new Chef’s Farm features a bounty of fresh Vermont produce that is served at the mountain-side restaurant and into the Out of the Woods Spa. Guests are able to tour the farm to see where their meals are sourced they are dining from with the innovative Ted Ask, Twin Farms’ Executive Chef, and his talented team. Seasonal ingredients are already being incorporated into the dining menu, with the spa releasing signature farm treatments this fall.
Also announced at the spa are exciting new partnerships with three local skincare brands. Tata Harper, Lunaroma and Versante will enhance Twin Farm’s spa offerings providing local and high-end skin and spa products. The introduction of the Tata Harper product line allows guests to enjoy spa treatments with high-end, organic skincare products using the freshest ingredients grown on Tata’s 1,200-acre Vermont farm. Currently, they are the first and only spa to offer Manicures and Pedicures created in collaboration with the locally based skin expert. Spa treatments such as the signature “Ultimate Body Treatment” will also be revamped with Lunaroma’s natural and organic aromatherapy and spa body products, which are made in small, hand-blended batches with organic ingredients, with the purpose of making the freshest and most natural products possible. Lunaroma is a perfect partner for Twin Farms, as the family-owned business’s products are also local and organic. Guests who don’t experience the spa can now still indulge with all-natural, in-room amenities by Versante. Twin Farms’ collaboration with this Vermont-based company allows guests to feel pampered throughout their stay with their pure collection of shampoo, conditioner, and body products.
Pets and dog owners also will be delighted by the news that dogs are now welcome in rooms and can partake and be present with their owners as they take in the countless number of fun family activities, including hiking, biking, tennis, fly fishing and canoeing, all available on the resort’s hundreds of acres of picturesque meadows and woodlands. Maggie, Twin Farms’ resident dog, a Golden Retriever, will help welcome and lead pups on hikes and escort them to their expansive cottages. Maggie has a longstanding background in hospitality, having come to the property from her recent post of Lake Placid Lodge along with her owner, John Graham, who is now managing partner of Twin Farms.
To commemorate the 20-year milestone, Twin Farms is also extending 20% off all new reservations for all dates through December 19, 2013.
