Whiteface Lodge, Lake Placid’s only luxury all-suite resort nestled in the region’s High Peaks, is taking the hustle and bustle out of holiday shopping. Its Holiday Stroll Package encourages guests to approach seasonal shopping at a leisurely stroll, while soaking up the beauty of the Adirondacks.
In partnership with the Lake Placid CVB and its annual Holiday Village Stroll, Whiteface Lodge encourages guests to cross holiday gifts off their lists at premier shops throughout Lake Placid Village. In between purchases, guests may partake in a host of holiday activities for the entire family, from ice skating parties in the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics arena to holiday movies and ice carvings on Main Street. A full list of activities can be viewed at www.lakeplacid.com/holidays. Available Dec. 11-14 with rates starting at $227 per night, the Holiday Stroll Package at Whiteface Lodge includes:
- Luxury all-suite accommodations complete with cozy fireplaces, a balcony, jetted tub and fireplace, full breakfast daily, warm, homemade cookies at turndown, nightly s’mores, and access to all resort amenities
- $50 per day shopping credits for use at participating local retailers
- Complimentary shuttle service to Lake Placid Village from 9-6 p.m. daily
- Holiday character breakfasts each morning at KANU featuring Santa Claus and his Elves, The Grinch, Rudolf and Frosty the Snowman, with plenty of opportunities for photos around Whiteface Lodge’s 35-foot Christmas tree
Guests and local residents are also invited to join Whiteface Lodge for its annual tree lighting ceremony from 5-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. Following the ceremony, complimentary holiday cookie decorating will be available for the kids, while the adults warm up in KANU with an adult Mixology Class.
