The luck of the Irish can be yours this St. Patrick’s Day when you book Straffan House, a private residence nestled on the 550-acre grounds of the exclusive K Club in County Kildare. The property’s lush green decor makes it easy to get in a celebratory mood, and the property will be offering festive menus, themed cocktails, and a kid-friendly Leprechaun Walk through the grounds to celebrate the patron saint. If all of that isn’t festive enough, the new house car—a vintage 1936 Jaguar—is available to whisk guests away to join the raucous revelry in Dublin, which is a quick 30-minute drive from the property.

To recover from the previous night’s overindulgence, guests of the house can detox at the private spa, take a dip in the indoor swimming pool (which comes complete with a swim-up bar), or hunker down for the day in the property’s plush, red-velvet-clad cinema room. A personal butler, private chef, and award-winning sommelier will all also be on hand, and guests can make their way to the nearby K Club to enjoy a round of golf, clay target shooting, art and history tours, horseback riding, tennis, and falconry.
