In today’s hotel landscape, it’s all about going private. Whether that means heading to a private island resort, looking for hotels at which it’s easy to keep your distance, or just buying out the whole place, guests are prioritizing privacy to help them feel safe. Seeing an increase both in these types of requests and in the number of guests enquiring about private air travel, several hotels have joined forces with private aviation companies to offer special room-and-flight packages or preferred rates for charter flights. From the sandy shores of Virgin Gorda to the rugged Central California coast, here are five hotels that are making getting from home to hotel easy, safe and hassle-free.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso
Image Credit: Courtesy Las Ventanas al Paraiso In response to increased demand for private air travel from its guests, Los Cabos’ beloved Las Ventanas al Paraiso joined forces with Jet & More to launch LVP Wings, which allows travelers to easily access charter flights to the hotel from three US hubs—Dallas Love Field Airport, Van Nuys Airport and Teterboro Airport—as well as, on a more limited basis, from regional airports in Paris and London. Guests can log on to the dedicated LVP Wings site to see what flights have been scheduled (the first flights will start in November, and run through the 2020-2021 high-season), then book and pay per seat—no memberships or additional fees required. (While the LVP Wings program focuses on per-seat charter flight bookings, guests interested in booking an exclusive flight can contact Jet & More directly regarding their bespoke options.) Guests booking the charter flights will also receive preferred rates on accommodations, which should be reserved directly with the resort. Once you’ve touched down in Cabo, you’ll be met by Los Ventanas staff and enjoy expedited immigration services before being whisked to the resort. Rosewood Little Dix Bay
Image Credit: Courtesy Rosewood Little Dix Bay Though at the time of this writing, Rosewood Little Dix Bay has yet to confirm a re-opening date for the winter season, we do that know that when the Virgin Gorda resort does re-open, guests will have a new option to fly them directly to paradise. Via the resort’s new partnership with Tropic Ocean Airways and its air concierge service Volo Travel, travelers will be able to access both private and semi-private flights from an array of locations.
